Take a bend in the pedestrian street and discover Piriac sur Mer’s picturesque marina , surrounded by granite houses and cobbled streets. The Pointe du Castelli offers an exceptional panorama of the Atlantic Ocean, and a hiking trail allows you to discover the diversity of the coastal landscapes and the Semaphore: built in 1806 under Napoleon I. La Turballe, a charming seaside resort renowned for its beaches, dynamic fishing port and rich cultural heritage. The region’s leading fishing port , particularly for sardines and anchovies. In summer, the sardine festival is a not-to-be-missed event for sampling this local specialty. La Turballe fish auction: for an authentic experience, attend the fish auction at the fish market. Morning guided tours allow you to discover this emblematic site. The Plage de Pen Bron, the Plage des Bretons and the Plage de la Grande Falaise are also worth a visit during your stay. Stop off at Baie de Pont-Mahé in the commune ofAssérac, just 10km from your seaside campsite in Loire-Atlantique, is a kitesurfer’s paradise : an opportunity to learn or simplyadmire the ballet of sails over the water! Thanks to its shallow waters, which are warmer than the ocean, it’s often nicknamed the “lagoon of the Atlantic”.

Penestin, just 20 minutes from your campsite, is a hidden treasure of Morbihan and Brittany. Discover its 25 km of coastline, including the Mine d’Or beach, famous for its ochre cliffs that offer a breathtaking natural spectacle, especially at sunset. For those who enjoy active tourism, Pénestin offers sporting activities such as sea kayaking or hiking along the customs trail. Take a trip up the banks of the Vilaine and let yourself go with the flow.

A lover of seaside walks, Céline recommends a stroll along the wild coastline of Le Croisic. Bad luck if the weather doesn’t cooperate, but it’s even better for pretty souvenir photos of the waves lapping against the rocks.
Thomas loves an afternoon of kite-surfing on the Pont-Mahé beach in Asserac, an ideal bay for beginners and experts to add to your vacation schedule in southern Brittany.
